Disclaimer: The product featured in this post (bareMinerals Made2Fit Foundation) was sent to me comlimentary to test and review by Influenster and bareMinerals. As always, all thoughts and opinions of this product featured here and on related social media by me are 100% honest and my own.
One of my favorite things about being a member of Influenster’s influencer network is the random “virtual VoxBox” campaigns that pop up once in a while. Usually there’s something that you have to do yourself, like download an app or go purchase a product, but sometimes you’ll get a coupon to do so. Still, when you’re in-between the actual physical VoxBox campaigns, these are fun activities. I recently qualified for one of these virtual VoxBoxes, and as always I love to share my experiences here even if it’s not a “requisite” or doesn’t earn me points to my badge. This time, it’s sponsored by bareMinerals and has to do with their new Made2Fit app that claims to be able to give you your perfect shade of foundation using your phone’s camera.
Disclaimer: I was not paid in any way for this post or for my thoughts on these products. I paid for my subscription myself and wanted to share my thoughts with you all! I have included my BoxyCharm referral link at the bottom of the post.
BoxyCharm came highly recommended by many of my friends who are more on the “Makeup Aficionado” side of the spectrum. It costs a little more than I am used to paying for subscription boxes ($21/Month) but they send full sized products from prestige brands. I decided to give it a try. The one thing that sucks is the Waitlist. I had to wait 3 months for a spot to open up to get my box. Now that I’m off, they will come monthly until I cancel, but the initial wait was torture!

If you’re anything like me, then you know that while coloring your hair is awesome and can make you feel like a million bucks, it’s not always easy to upkeep, and often times your hair ends up being damaged between the dye itself, heat styling, and environmental issues. Since I color my hair red, the upkeep is generally not too bad, but there’s still a lot going on that gives me some pretty hefty split ends and makes my color appear lackluster after a while. That’s where L’Oréal’s Elvive line comes in!
I’d like to disclaim that this post is not sponsored in any way by Dollar Shave Club. I simply decided to take advantage of a special promotion to give them a try and share my thoughts here on the blog. Like all my reviews, my views are my own. Everyone with a Dollar Shave Club account gets a referral link, and mine is at the bottom of the post.
When money is tight and you have two people who need razors on a daily basis in your household, it’s not exactly practical to spend $20 twice a month on good razors (or $8 once a month for shitty disposable ones). I remembered seeing ads and positive reviews for Dollar Shave Club, and when they had a discounted “starter kit” with no commitment, I figured it was worth a try. And as always, I love to share my experiences just in case there’s someone out there who could benefit from me sharing my thoughts!

It’s time for another awesome VoxBox review courtesy of Influenster! This time I’ve gotten a box geared towards college students called the #DormLifeVoxBox (ironic since I’ve never lived in a dorm!) Read More

Love is full of clichés, and there’s nothing wrong with that. He really does know me better than I know myself. He is my light, my best friend, my home. He gives me butterflies and drives me absolutely insane, sometimes at the same time.
I could prattle on forever with quotes from literature or movies about love and how profound it is. I could compare our love to that of the greats, the idols of romantic relationships, but none of that really seems accurate.
I was recently sent a set of Color Street Nail Strips & an accent nail sample by my friend Rosy at Radiantly Rosy (you’ll recognize her from the Six Blogger Style series we’ve been doing together!) I’ve used nail strips from other brands in the past but was usually less than impressed between time and effort to apply & also durability. I’ve been pleased with Color Street’s products.
Welcome to Round 2 of Six Blogger Style!
Last month, these 5 ladies and myself shared how we wear floral sundresses. Fall is arguably my favorite season, closely followed by Winter. I’ve been so ready to rid my life of the heat of summer and break into the warm and cozy fashion of fall, but alas living in Georgia, it’s still just not cold enough for sweaters yet (boo!) However, I think all of us were ready to bring just a smidge of fall into our lives this month, so we all voted to style ankle boots for September!
I was recently sent samples of some of LimeLight by Alcone’s skincare line by the lovely Jayne of jaynemicaela.com to try out. Now lately I’ve heard a lot of great things about LimeLight, so I was excited to get to try some of their product for myself!
Jayne sent me a 3-Day supply of LimeLight’s Skin Polish, Calm Balm, and Dream Clean, as well as a catalog of their
products and how to use them effectively. Read More
Remember my Things I Love Thursday where I professed my love for all things Blush (a.k.a. Millenial Pink)? I wasn’t kidding. I’ve been on such a pink kick lately it’s insane. I just LOVE this top and when I saw these shoes on sale at Modcloth AND got a 40% off + free shipping coupon in the mail, I HAD to jump on it (I ended up only paying $21.99 total for the shoes!)
