This month we voted to style a very Spring-worthy trend: florals! It’s one of those trends that never goes away, but the spring months are the perfect time to show off your favorite floral pieces!

One of our usual members had to take a hiatus this month for her move, so we have the lovely Kattz Cathy filling in for Jody!

Gabby (Hey, that’s me!)

This month, I chose to wear my florals through shorts! I found these super fun and flowy shorts and fell in love! Paired with a Chambray top, a colorful bag, and of course some gorgeous jewelry, it made an easy-chic outfit!

Jenna (Mrs. Teacher Chic)

Jenna chose a gorgeous purple floral shift dress and heels to match! I love this beautiful outfit that looks like it would be perfect for a brunch, the office, or even date night!

Chelsea (Rosy Point of View)

It’s still cold and snowy where Chelsea is in Chicago, so she chose a more wintery-floral approach by pairing an embroidered floral kimono with black leggings and chunky ankle boots!

Rachel (Duchess and Goose)

Rachel has also chosen to express her florals in a darker hue! Her beautiful flowy dress is a perfect contrasting companion to her floppy hat and chunky lace-up boots!

Kattz Cathy (Style With Intention)

Kattz Cathy is filling in for Jody this month, and we welcome her! I absolutely adore her vibrant choice of color with her floral dress and shoes! This is a great outfit that will last all through the summer season!

Kelsi (Law and Lattes)

Kelsi has rebranded her blog! She’s begun her journey through law school and I am so happy for her! She looks very professional chic with her blouse and floral pants (and she looks adorable in her glasses too!)

What would you like to see us style next?

It’s a new month, and we have 2 new bloggers! Unfortunately, Oendrila has run into a lot personally and professionally and has decided to take some time for herself. I’m always sad to see one of our members go! But the good news is we have 2 ladies ready to jump right on in, so you’ll be meeting Kelsi and Rachel later in this post!

This month, we voted to style velvet, and luckily too because it’s just about too hot for any kind of winter wear here in Georgia!

Let’s all take a moment of silence in remembrance of the infamous Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake denim on denim red carpet look. May it ever remain as merely a costume.

Now, let’s move right along, because the Six Blogger Style ladies are here to show you how to rock the “Canadian tuxedo” denim-on-denim trend without looking like a hot mess!

This past weekend, Joe and I took a day trip up to Pine Mountain, LaGrange, and Hogansville to do some exploring/antiquing and just get out of Columbus. We know we want to plan an exclusive trip dedicated to checking out Callaway Gardens, but for today, we were content to explore the city and check out some of the local antique shops. This is our favorite pastime, because even if we don’t buy anything we become inspired and rejuvenated by new sights and experiences!

Happy December, everyone!

We’re back sharing our favorite ways to wear Sweater Dresses! We chose this as a way to celebrate the height of the winter season, and although we ran into a few bumps and unforeseen cultural differences in availability, I’m so in love with all of these dresses! We’re also introducing a new member to the group, Kamalika! You’ll meet her later on in this post.

It’s time for another round of Six Blogger Style! You may notice a little change-up; one of the original members of the group has left to pursue a more cohesive blog as well as focus more of her time on her new online shop. We all miss Lauren dearly and continue to support her as she branches out and grows!

In her stead is Dominique, who I will warmly introduce shortly when we come to her outfit for this month!

This month, the vote was decided to tackle a staple for the colder months on the cusp of fall and winter: knitwear. It’s a broad topic, and there are so many ways to wear it. Let’s get right into it, shall we?

I looked all over the place trying to find a simple trench coat. Who would have thought I’d find one for just $10 at a thrift mall? This gorgeous vintage London Fog trench probably dates somewhere in the 80’s. There was another one in the same booth that I may snag if it’s still there when I go back. The one I’m wearing came with a removable insert, which I took out for the day.

Nerdy/Geeky Fall/Winter Fashion

Hey everyone! I’m happy to present a new guest post on the blog today! E. L. blogs over at E. L. Lane Writer, and I’m glad to share her nerdy-style take on cold weather fashions. A girl after my own heart! Enjoy!

The weather is cooling down a bit in Miami, and this is when Floridians dust off their furry boots and leather jackets. I took advantage of the cooler weather we had a couple of weeks ago to put together my new favorite nerdy/ geeky fall/winter outfits.

I call the first one…

We’re here, we’re ambitious, we’re all mixing prints!

So far we’ve styled Floral Sundresses and Ankle Boots for you all. The vote this month was divided but we landed on the challenge of mixing prints. It’s something I’ve wanted to try for a while but this finally gives me an excuse to experiment and do something different.
