It’s a new month, and we have 2 new bloggers! Unfortunately, Oendrila has run into a lot personally and professionally and has decided to take some time for herself. I’m always sad to see one of our members go! But the good news is we have 2 ladies ready to jump right on in, so you’ll be meeting Kelsi and Rachel later in this post!

This month, we voted to style velvet, and luckily too because it’s just about too hot for any kind of winter wear here in Georgia!

Gabby (Hey, that’s me!)

I wore this look on an impromptu date night with my husband to go get some sushi at a favorite spot here in town. We don’t very often go out for dates without planning, but once in a while is nice to break up the usual routine of planning.

I found this great royal blue velvet kimono cardigan while on a run to Marshall’s. I got super lucky because it was actually on clearance, so I only paid $3!

I didn’t want to overwhelm the color palette with too much blue, so I decided to keep my “base outfit” monochromatic white! I feel like white is a great neutral to build off of, especially as we head into spring.

I was so happy to get these jewels in with my order from the Spring Launch of Chloe + Isabel’s new collection, Dreams of Provence! The blue watercolor hues of the necklace and earrings were a perfect casual-but-stylish addition to this outfit. I do love me some sparkle… but once in a while, understated says it all! It’s a little hard to see, but some of those pieces are painted like a little Monet painting! *swoon*!

Chelsea (Rosy Point of View)

Chelsea also chose a monochromatic look with just a touch of sparkle via those AH-MAZE-ING shoes! Her velvet pants pair so well with the lace on her top, creating a medley of soft, romantic textures that are just asking to be worn for a fun night out!

Rachel (Duchess and Goose)

Rachel blogs over at Duchess and Goose looks like a total rock star! She’s gone entirely monochromatic with her look, from her velvet dress to her hat to the tights and shoes on her feet!

Jody (It’s Fantabulous)

Jody had paired a black velvet too with burgundy pants and black ankle boots for a great look that could hold its own all day from the office to drinks at night!

Kelsi ( By Grace Alone)

Kelsi is our other new member! She’s chosen a velvet duster cardigan that works so well with her height and heels! I love that she chose a patterned velvet piece, and the floral design is perfect for the transition to spring!

Jenna (Mrs. Teacher Chic)

Jenna’s velvet tank looks so cute under her cardigan and with her oh-so-stylish over the knee boots! I love the pale blush color with her hair and complexion!

That does it for this month! We love to hear your suggestions; what would you like to see us Style next?
