Guys. I can’t even tell you how excited I was to get into this campaign from Influenster. I get to try BOTH of Kat Von D’s revived fragrances for FREE!! Since these are mini bottles for sample purposes, they don’t include the full design of the bottles, which are gorgeous.  Kat von D sketched the design herself, and it’s said that she designed the full sized bottles to resemble a human heart when held in your hand. Creepy and macabre? Yes. Awesome and gorgeous? Also, yes.

I fell in love with Kat Von D’s liquid lipstick when I received a sample in my Sephora Play! last month, and I’ve seen some of her other products in use as well. BUT they’re not why we are here today. Today we are talking about these absolutely killer fragrances!

Saint includes scent profiles such as jasmine, mandarin, caramel, vanilla, and sandalwood. Sinner’s scents include vetiver, patchouli and wood. Two very different fragrances that both smell AMAZING.
The best way I can think to describe these two scents is this: Saint is like springtime, floral and light and romantic. Sinner is like fall, sultry and warm and comforting. I couldn’t pick a favorite if I tried. Some days I feel more drawn to Saint, others to Sinner. But as the branding for the collection says, there are two sides in all of us.
My husband seems to enjoy the Sinner fragrance on me more, as he’s always been drawn to more earthy notes. If I absolutely had to choose… I’d go with Sinner. Have you tried the Saint and Sinner Fragrances? Which is your favorite?

  1. Kat Von D creates amazing product designs, a true artist! I’ve been a fan for years and I’m so glad she got into beauty. As for these perfumes…I’d buy both of them, if I had the chance. Love the meaning behind the branding, the names and packaging…Just stunning.
By the way, you just inspired me to do a perfume review 🙂
    Keep up the great work!

  2. I’m a sucker for a great floral perfume so the saint scent is perfect! I’m pretty sure every perfume I own either has jasmine or sandalwood tones in it. I love how cute the packaging is for this line.
